DIGIPAK PLAN

This is the plan for my digipak. Panel 1 has the bonus DVD, all of my panels fit my genre but starting off with this one it fits my genre as the DVD has the tropical fruit pineapple tiling the disc. The actual disk is going to be a light green colour to match the stalk of the pineapples and the DVD content is going to be a selection of my artist's festival sets. Panel 2 is the songs CD. It's pretty plain as its pink coloured with little palm trees circling the disk. The background where the disk sits is ocean waves to match the lyric book cover which is on panel 3. Panel four is my 'house style' which is the overall feel of your digipak. It contains small pictures of palm trees tiling the space they're in with 3 white lines separating them on a blue background. I think my house style fits my genre very well as my groups main focus in our genre is the palm trees and the colours blue, white and green. Panel 5 is my tracklisitng and it will be an image of a palm tree lined street (like in Beverly Hills). I thought this was a good idea as I didn't want my tracklisiting to be too plain and the tracks fit within the gap between the trees perfectly. Panel 6 is my front cover. I took the layout idea from the artwork from Kygo's released singles. The picture features my artist in front of a beach backdrop. I thought that the backdrop would be conventional to the genre but considering there is no tropical beaches where I live I think that I will use green screen or projections to achieve the backdrop. The artists name will be in white and the rest of the CD cover maybe in grey (I haven't decided on the colour.

These various images inspired me when it came to designing my digipak. These pictures helped me create the overall feel to my digitak & I may even use them when I make my real digipak.

  1. Also add your poster plan - you need this to help organise your production log
